Sinossi e dettagli:
Piccolo film, piccolo budget, grandi ambizioni. Quattro generazioni in una vicenda circolare che le riconduce al punto di partenza. Henry (Michael Caine), vecchio archeologo è ormai prossimo alla fine. Egli vive con il nipote Jason (Josh Lucas) ed il figlio di questi, il piccolo Zach (Jonah Bobo). Giunge inaspettato Turner (Christopher Walken), figlio di Henry e padre di Jason. È scontro, ma solo ideologico, tra rassegnazione, incomprensioni e rimpianti. Tre stati emotivi che hanno una sola matrice, il senso di colpa che i tre adulti, per motivi diversi si trascinano come un bagaglio appresso. Morto Henry, si dovranno rispettare le sue ultime volontà, che comportano un lungo viaggio e la dispersione delle sue cenneri ("Non voglio finire sotto terra").
